Is it possible to alter the display of tied notes? I want to tie a dotted 8th note to a half note but Logic first writes the half, then the 8th note

You can fix this by inserting a dotted 8th rest to the half note. This rest has to be positioned very precisely but you can orient yourself easily with the position display. If the rest was positioned incorrectly by mistake, you can quickly locate it in the Event list and delete it.
