A few units from our first batch shipped uninitialized.  This can be
fixed in just a few minutes with the procedure below. Would you prefer
to initialize it?  If so, here are the instructions:



Here are the steps to initialize an AVP-1:

1. Power off the unit

2. Press and hold any button on the front panel while powering on the unit

3. Turn the data wheel to position 8

4. Press any button (reinitialization will take just a few seconds)

5. Spin the data wheel to position 9

6. Press any button twice to reboot unit.
