Q:
I assigned different Programs to my Style tracks, but after saving the Style the new Programs are not correctly selected. Why ?
A:
Before O.S. version 2.0: Go to Style Play mode, Page 21 ("StyCtl: Wrap/Rnd"). Set the Prog parameter to "On", then save your modified Style by pressing the WRITE button and selecting the "Current Style" (to save the changes in the Style Performance) or "Perfomance" (to save the changes in a R.T. Performance) option. Starting from O.S. version 2.0: You can use the above procedure to assign a single Program to the whole Style, or assign a different Program to each Style Element by entering the Style Record mode and going to Page 7 ("SECtl: Program"). This second mode is much more powerful, since you can assign, say, a Standard Kit to the Drum track of Variation 1, and a Jazz Kit to the Drum track of Variation 2. After this editing, please be sure to save the Style and exit the Record mode, then go to Style Play mode, Page 21 ("StyCtl: Wrap/Rng") and set the "Prog" parameter to "Orig(inal).
