Q:
can I use ST as a VST instrument in a DIRECT X system?
A:
The original "VST Adapter" was the product
which established us, at that time under the name "Amulet Audio Software". There are now three different VST-DX Adapters to choose from, and a fourth will debut later this year. The right one for you depends on which host application(s) you're using, and what kind of feature set you need. The three levels are as follows:-VST- DX Adapter Lite - the most cost-effective way to get VST support in your DX applications, equally suited to both realtime and offline use. Supports VST effects plug-ins in applications like SEK'D Samplitude, Syntrillium Cool Edit 2000 and Cool Edit Pro, Sonic Foundry Sound Forge, Acid, Vegas series, and many more. VST-DX Adapter Standard Edition - a more powerful adapter, Standard Edition adds support for the DXi software synthesiser standard, and DX8.0 Envelope Automation. This adapter is ideal for users of Cakewalk SONAR and other DXi-compatible applications, as it allows VST2.0 VST Instruments (soft synths) to be used exactly as if they were true DXi's. VST-DX Adapter SDE - the Sound Designer's edition is a powerful offline sound design tool, featuring a modular routing architecture (essentially a freeform plug-in chainer), and a high-precision automation system allowing you to crossfade and modulate every parameter of every effect in the chain. Ideal for anyone doing sound design work with Sonic Foundry Sound Forge, the Syntrillium Cool Edit series, or Steinberg Wavelab - this plug-in greatly extends your signal processing capabilities. 1/12/02 2:05 PM Product template page Page 1 of 1 www.fxpansion.com |
