Q:
After being idle for a little while, my Aardvark card quits working in Windows 2000 and XP and the PCI Bus efficiency drops from 90% to 0%. What can I do to fix this?
A:
This is a current known bug with the first release of the Windows 2000 / XP Aardvark and Soundblaster drivers. Aardvark is working on the fix, and should be out late May of 2002 or early June 2002. Check their website for this update at www.aardvarkaudio.com The temporary fix is to remove or disable your Soundblaster card because it is a conflict between the drivers of the two audio cards.
