Q:
Q:Why is my DR16 giving a “Disk too slow” message when I try to record?
A:
A: The “Disk too slow” message appears when the access time of the hard disk is too slow to process data transfers between the DR8/DR16 and the hard drive, causing the DR’s internal memory buffer to overflow. Try reformatting the drive and/or reducing the number of record tracks. This may be a sign of a faulty hard drive as well.
