How do you save a .WAV file on Smartmedia? Do I use the .W2W format?

Motif's format (.W2W) includes information that is not included in a .wav. So there is no waveform or keybank information in a .wav file.

When you want to save a .wav file, select Save in file mode, select .wav as the type and then press ENTER. You should then be able to select the Element (or track) and the keybank you'd like to save, Pressing the audition button will play the sample you are about to save.

Press enter again to save the .wav to the card or SCSI device.
