A:
1) Download the latest released OS ISO image file from the Alesis Web Site (alesis.com)
2) Obtain and install a copy of Adaptec’s Easy CD Creator. Easy CD Creator is not free. It must
be purchased, but sometimes it comes with CDR/CDRW drives. If you don’t want to purchase a
copy of Easy CD Creator, try using CDRWIN.
3) Launch Easy CD Creator. When the C r e a t o r W i z a r d C r e a t o r W i z a r d dialog box appears, select “Cancel”.
4) Next, from the file menu select “Create CD From Disc Image”.
5) When the common dialog box appears, first select the file type as “ISO Image File” and then
locate the Alesis Masterlink OS ISO file on your hard drive.
6) When the CD Creation Setup CD Creation Setup dialog box appears, select the Advanced Advanced Tab. Check the “Close

performance-challenged systems may require writing at 1X or 2X.
Under Options Options, select “Test and Create CD”. Insert a blank CDR into your drive.
NOTE: Only record using CDR media. CDRW may not work inside your ML-9600.
When you’re ready, click “OK” and start the burning process.
8) Wait for the burning process to complete, then click “OK”. The disc should automatically eject.
9) Remove and label your new Masterlink OS disc.
