Can I direct monitor the inputs of my M-Audio Quattro while listening to the playback of my audio software (in Windows)?
 
A:
If you have software which supports ASIO or WDM direct monitoring, you can do this. Software includes Cubase, Nuendo, Logic, Sonar, and some others.

If your software does not support direct monitoring, you will only be able to listen to either your playback from the software or the live input, but not both mixed together.
