Loud fan noise on new G4's (mirrored drive doors). Fan gets louder and quieter.

The new G4's have heat sensitive cooling systems. Therefore; the fan will automatically speed up and slow down as needed.

The Power Mac G4 Firmware Update 4.4.8 improves fan control behavior and reduces high speed fan cycling when running in Mac OS 9.
