Q:
How can I change Masters via MIDI from a Kurzweil keyboard.
A:
Once you get Motif into Master Mode, don't try to send it Program changes messages to change to different Master Programs. Master Mode can only be changed by a Sysex message.
You should still be able to do what you want buy putting a sysex string in the Kurzweil quick access. F0 43 10 6B 0A 00 00 xx F7 where XX= the Master number in hex format F0 43 10 6B 0A 00 00 00 F7 is Master 001 F0 43 10 6B 0A 00 00 01 F7 is Master 002 F0 43 10 6B 0A 00 00 0A F7 is Master 010 F0 43 10 6B 0A 00 00 0B F7 is Master 011 F0 43 10 6B 0A 00 00 10 F7 is Master 016 You need to convert the Master program number into hex format number and enter into the string above just before the F7 end of message command.
