Q:
How do I create a split performance on my CS6X?

A:
A Performance can be created as a Split, for playing two Voices in separate Note Ranges. This method allows the user to set up different Splits for each Performance.

NOTE: If there is a PLG100XG Plug-in Board installed in the unit, the XG Voices in Parts 17-32 will normally be doubling the Voices in Parts 1-16. To avoid this, Parts 17-32 must be muted via MIDI, or manually on the instrument. (Only Parts 17 - 18 need to be muted for this example.) Click here for 'Muting and Resetting a PLG100XG Plug-in Board in a CS6X'.
