Does the Frontier Design Montana card take any computer resources when it is plugged into the ISA or PCI slot? Will it show up in Windows or my system?
A:
The Montana card basically takes power from the PCI or ISA bus, but does not actually take any resources from it, and therefore the card itself should not cause any conflicts in your system. All the communication is done in the Dakota card.
