Q:
Cannot open .WAV (Windows) files in Sound Designer II. Cannot see .WAV files on disk.
A:
There are 2 ways to open .WAV files in SDII:1) Open the SDII Preferences window (setup menu). Set the .WAV File Type box to the file type of the converted file. Example: if you converted the file using PC Exchange, the new file on the Mac HD would be a TEXT file type. Change the preference window from .WAV to TEXT (this is case sensitive).2) Open your converted .WAV file in ResEdit. Choose OK when it asks you to create a resource fork. Under the File menu choose File Info for your sound file (your file). Change the Type to .WAV (This IS case sensitive). Now SD II will see the file and open it.
