If there is more than 2Gb available on the drive, then this error will be prompted since, as of this writing, the Mac OS does not allow files larger than 2Gb. Recording multiple tracks would split the available drive space up, which is why mutlitrack recording would work.The only workaround would be to define the amount of recording time by either highlighting a section of the track, or by setting the Record Start and Stop times in the transport window.
