Q:
"Not enough memory to compute overviews" after recording in Pro Tools. RAM requirements for computing overviews while recording.
A:
Pro Tools needs (344 bytes x Seconds x Tracks) to compute overviews while recording. If Pro Tools runs out of RAM while recording, it will post a "not enough memory to compute overviews" dialog. Close and reopen the session to make Pro Tools compute the missing overviews. Increase the preferred memory for the Pro Tools application for future recordings.Note: Pro Tools Project and DAE PowerMix cannot compute overviews while recording.
