This DAT deck can perform two types of SMPTE lock.1) SMPTE Trigger (gets an address and starts PB or Rec) = Mode 1.2) SMPTE Chase (continuous SMPTE sync) = Mode 2.If Mode 2 is used during a digital transfer, the sample rate clock can vary outside the window of "lockability" and Pro Tools will freeze.Solution: Use Mode 1 for the digital transfer.
