Q:
Can you use the same I/O and SCSI cables on a NuBus or PCI PTIII/Project system?
A:
No, both the SCSI and I/O ports on the PCI cards are different than the ports on the NuBus Disk I/O and Bridge I/O.A NuBus system uses a 50- to 50-pin cable for I/O, and a custom L-style to Centronics cable for SCSI.A PCI PTIII/Project system uses a 50- to 62-pin cable for I/O and a mini-SCSI to Centronics cable for SCSI.The SCSI cable is included with the Disk I/O or PT Project core, the Interface cable is included with the Interface.
