System freeze while loading the DigiSystem INIT on the B&W G3 and G4 (PCI) Macs is a known issue. The DigiSystem INIT needs to initialize the PCI Bridge chip in order for our cards to work properly with these models. We will be addressing this issue in a later version of the DSI (possibly 5.0.1). Although this is by no means fatal, it requires you to restart the Mac from the front panel reset button. We have experienced this behavior at a rough average of 1 out of every 10 boots in the Technical Support department.
