Can I run LVD drives with single ended drives and still get 80mb/sec transfer rates?

In order to use and LVD drive at its full speed (80mb a second) the Drive, Card and Terminator need to support LVD. Adding single-ended drives or terminators to an LVD bus will limit it to both single-ended transfer rates AND single-ended cable length limits.
