DAE Error -6012. Windows 98se
A:
In Windows 98SE this is akin to the -6010 and -6011 errors (essentially "Hardware is in use"). Go to Control Panels > Multimedia > Devices > AudioFind the Audio for Digidesign Multimedia Devices, and check DO NOT MAP THROUGH.
