With a USD and Machine control: When entering the insertion point, the deck locates but when hitting PLAY, the deck does NOT follow. Pro Tools says "waiting for sync. Then if Transport = Machine the deck follows but there is NO AUDIO from Pro Tools.

Pro Tools does not move when hitting PLAY unless it is receiving positional reference, although you may see "current TC" in thesession setup window (due to the 9-pin connection between the deck and computer). Verify that the Deck'sTime Code OUT jack [LTC] is cabled to the LTC IN jack on the USD.Also, verify- Transport = Pro Tools- Preferences>Operations>enable machine follows edit insertion/scrubenable machine chases memory location
