Q:
After using Beat Detective in Pro Tools 5.1, I get a frequent number of 9073 (Disk too slow or fragmented) errors.
A:
This can happen when too many edits and crossfades occur within a short period of time across a large number of tracks, such as can be created when using Beat Detective.Either increase DAE playback buffer size or from the Edit menu or select Consolidate Selection to "flatten" the edited regions into single contiguous audio files.
