With a Pro Tools 13 slot expansion chassis:1) the computer does not start when the chassis is connected, or 2) the PCI cards in the chassis are not recognized.

Digidesign has learned that certain Pro Tools 13-Slot Expansion Chassis, as provided to Digidesign have demonstrated functional problems. These problems usually have the following symptoms: 1) the computer does not start when the chassis is connected, or 2) the PCI cards in the chassis are not recognized.We have isolated this problem to Pro Tools 13-Slot Expansion Chassis with serial numbers starting with NB0600100C. Pro Tools 13-Slot Expansion chassis ending with D or higher do not have this problem.If you encounter this problem, contact Digidesign technical support.
