"Pro Tools version 5.1 requires a TDM mixer plug-in in the plug-ins folder" After installing Pro Tools 5.1 over an older version.
 
A:
Remove the old 16 bit Optimized Mixer from the Plug-ins folder and relaunch Pro Tools.
