Relaunching Pro Tools, after quitting, triggers the message, "Pro Tools hardware is either not installed or in use by another computer."The application launches fine after rebooting the computer.

Verify that the system does not have 2 Digidesign Stream Managers enabled. The Pro Tools 5.1 installer may not remove or disable the previous Stream manager.-disable the older version of the Digidesign Stream Manager extension in the extensions manager control panel and restart the cpu.
