Q:
Cannot save a new session. When in the New Session dialog, choosing a save path and clicking on the save button does not initiate the save.
 
A:
This has occurred on PC systems with hard drives attached to PCI ATA/IDE controller cards, as well as those whose hard drives are not installed to the Primary IDE buss on the motherboard. The affected systems also do not have the destination IDE hard drive(s) recognized under the Disk Drives heading in the Device Manager . The solution is to install the drive(s) to the Primary IDE Buss on the motherboard. The drive(s) should then be listed under the Disk Drives heading in the Device Manager and saving to these drives should then function in Pro Tools LE.
