Q:
Pressing of alt-start-d minimizes pro tools but then just 'd' minimizes any application whenever 'd' is touched until machine is reboot or ctrl-alt-d is pressed again.
A:
Because Pro Tools uses the CNTR - ALT - Windows and SHIFT keys for calling application functions, you may run into situations where our use of the keyboard conflicts with Windows 2000 Professional. Should you find yourself in a situation where pressing the 'D' key, either in Pro Tools or while it's in the open in the background, causes the current application to minimize, please press CNTL- START - D to fix this problem.
