During reinstallation of a windows OS, I received Digidesign's Direct I/O error message" -6002". This error message prevented me from fully installing the "new" OS. All other 3rd party cards seemed to pass.

Remove Digidesign's hardware when reinstalling or upgrading to a newer OS.
