Q:
-I tried opening a PT 4.2 session in 5.1.1 and everything is fine except that it skipped all instances of Digi EQ and Dynamics plug-ins. -I thought that EQ II and Dynamics II would appear in place of the old plugs, but no go.
 
A:
-Unfortunately, the Digi dynamics and EQ Plug-Ins from pre 4.3 will not be recognized in 5.1/5.1.1. (Serious Plug-In library changes have been made since 4.2).Possible workaround: -Open session in 5.0 and save it. then try 5.1.1.

• -When attempting to open a Pro Tools 4.2 session in 5.1.1, I tried installing the old plug-in files in and authorizing them.-The session opened with the plugs in place, but inactive. If I try to make them active I get DAE error -7219.
