When launching Logic Audio ver 4.6 on a Windows system using a Digi 001 produces6002 "cant initialize Direct I/O" and or 6010"Could not create DAE deck"

6002 error. You must disable "Audio for Digidesign Multimedia devices" selecting "Do not use audio features on this device"in the Multimedia control panel audio devices tab. Then restart.This happens because Logic is using Direct I/O and not the multimedia preferred record/playback of the OS. When that is enabled and set to Digidesign, Logic cant get the hardware.6010 happens if you try to launch logic without having the wavedriver and Pro Tools software installed. Could also be if Pro Tools sofware is not installed. Logic cant initialize Direct I/Obecause there is no hardware to see.
