Q:
DAE -7080 ("no system resources to open plug-in") on Pro Tools 5.11 TDM on the Windows 2000 Professional (W2k Pro) platform when opening a digirack plug-in (RTAS or TDM).All other TDM plug-ins work fine.

A:
Check if other/different software has been installed after the Pro Tools installation. Pro Tools LE or Avid products (Avid XPress DV) install their own (different) plug-ins managers and plug-ins. The versions of these plug-ins are too old to work on Pro Tools 5.x. Fortunately, Avid systems are able to use the newer digirack plug-ins installed with Pro Tools 5.x.To re-install the digirack plug-ins:1) backup your DAE plug-ins folder!2) delete all digirack plug-ins from the original folder OR delete the whole plug-ins folder3) re-install Pro Tools from the CD-ROM (typical installation).4) check the "new" plug-ins folder and copy all non-existing plug-ins from your backup folder into this one5) delete the DAE prefs!6) launch Pro Tools.
