When using the Signal Generator plug-in I cannot specify frequencies with decimal point accuracy (ex: 880.12 Hz), only round numbers. Is this intentional, a bug or a design limitation?
This is basically a design limitation. The Signal Generator is not intended to be a high quality tone generator. It's a very basic, simple, tone generator and is not intended for critical testing tones, nor the replication of complex frequencies. As an alternative, please take a look at Generator X by Cool Stuff Labs:
