As of MAC OS 9.1 you now cannot reset the minimum memory preference for an application to default by entering "0" in the minimum field of the info window and pressing return.
 
A:
In order to check the minimum memory value (as of Mac OS 9.1), enter 1000 in the minimum field and close the window.The MAC OS will prompt a warning telling the minimum memory must be. At this point you can enter the number in the minimum memory field.
