When importing avid embedded OMF files, I am getting repetitive questions on the same file - and a box comes up and gives me a yes or no choice on missing samples and I say yes and it imports the sound.
 
A:
For somewhat complex reasons, Pro Tools does not link to fades that are generated on the Avid. Therefore, you should just "Skip All Fades" and they'll be regenerated for you.
