Q:
In Pro Tools|HD my legacy interfaces (888/24, 1622 etc ) have become "inactive". and cannot be accessed. Why?
A:
All sessions with sample rates above 48k will automatically disable all legacy interfaces. This is because these interfaces are not capable of sample rates above 48k. However, you can use ADAT light pipe devices going to a 192 I/O and the Pro Tools software will upsample the signal to the current selected sample rate of the session.
