Q:
When using the Audiosuite Time Compress Expansion Plugin that comes with Pro Tools 5.1 and above, when I try to enter the Destination End Time Code, it changes the Time Code entry to a different value than what I entered.
A:
This appears to happen if the session is set to 29.97 fps.Customer reports that if his selection is about an hour long and he enters an exact Destination End Time, that it will adjust it about5 seconds sooner that what he entered. The workaround is to change the session to 30fps in the Windows > Show Session setup window temporarily while you use the Time Compression Plugin and then change it back to 29.97fps when done.
