Download aborted due to error in communication when attempting to update USD's firmware from 5.0.1 to 5.0.1 from Pro Tools on the Digiserial port.

Try trashing the OMS current state preference in the System Folder > OMS folder > OMS Preferences folder. OMS will prompt you to create a new setup at the next Pro Tools launch.Reseat the serial cable at both ends. Or, try another serial cable. It is possible for a serial cable to be communicating enough for the USD to be recognized, but fail when a firmware update is attempted.Power cycle the USD.
