While laying back digitally (48K) from Pro Tools to a Sony DVW500 using Machine Control, an audible glitch (click, pop) is placed on the deck's audio tracks upon executing the "stop" command (either automatically or with the spacebar).

This behavior has been seen with various DigiBeta decks and MachineControl. The workarounds are as follows:-Press Command+Period to stop the layback-Punch out of record first and then Stop playback. -Create an In/Out point in the session by making selection in the Edit window.
