Q:
"Audio File [or OMF name]" has too few samples. Regions referencing missing samples will be dropped from the regions bin. Do you want to continue?
A:
This is a known issue when importing an OMF from Media Composer versions previous to 11.0 into Digitranslator 2.x. Digitranslator thinks that each media file is too short by one sample. If the OMF references external media then it will ask and report the error for each media file. If the OMF is embedded, Pro Tools will repeatedly ask to be pointed back to the OMF file. Clicking through each file (possibly hundreds depending on the size of the project) and ignoring the "too few samples" error will open the OMF correctly in Pro Tools. This is resolved with Media Composer 11.0 and later.Workaround for Avid versions previous to 11.0: revert to Digitranslator 1.x or even OMF Tool.
