Q:
The Monitor Outputs on the Control|24 seem very low as compared to the Aux Outputs (when using Monitor to Aux). When both pots are set to 12 O'Clock the Aux Outs are at least 10 dB hotter than the Monitor Outs.

A:
The reason for the difference in output levels at the 12 o'clock position is that the pots have different tapers. When the Aux level and Monitor level pots are full up and being fed by the Pro Tools monitor input the output levels are the same. When they are at the 12 o'clock position the Aux Output is down by 9 dB but the Main monitor output is down by 19 dB.
