When launching Pro Tools LE v5.3.1 (WinXP), the following message/error is posted: "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on. Click "OK" when the hardware is ready."

In one case reinstalling Pro Tools LE v5.3.1 resolved the problem.
