Description:Cakewalk may hang or crash if you record enable an audio track or press Play/Record in one of the following situations:1) The WaveDriver Setting Dialog is open.2) You are recording, record monitoring, or playing audio in another application. 3) When using another audio application such as Acid or Cubase VST that has a option to keep the WaveDriver "open" even when you are not playing or recording.Solution / Workaround:Before playing, recording, or record enabling in Cakewalk:1) Close the WaveDriver Setting Dialog.2) Stop recording, record monitoring, or playing audio in all other applications. 3) You must either turn off the "always keep the WaveDriver open" setting in other applications or close the applications in which this setting is enabled.
