Pro Tools won't go into Play or Record
A:
Make sure that Transport = Pro Tools on the transport. If Transport = Machine or Online and there is no actual "machine" or VTR/ATR present, then Pro Tools will wait for a start command from a machine that does not exist. Set Transport = Pro Tools for normal operation.
