My Power Mac G4 Dual optical has an irregularly loud fan noise when running Mac OS 9.

Resetting Firmware on PowerMac G4 Dual Optical reduces fan noise. The process for resetting the Firmware is as follows:1. Shut your computer down.2. Start up while holding the Option-Command-o-f keys down. You will be prompted to let go of the keys.3. type: reset-all (then hit return). The computer will restart.4.
