On a Powerbook 1400, 3400 or others, encountering the following error at the end of the install: “Error while validating the authorization count. This Macintosh computer is incapable of key diskette based authorization. Please contact customer service for authorization alternatives. Result code: 34.” This error occurs on computers that do not contain both CD ROM and floppy drive bays. Continue past the error messages, and install will complete. Shut down, and swap the CD ROM drive with the floppy drive. Insert the application master diskette, and run the Authorizer/Deauthorizer application. Follow the on screen authorization instructions.
