Authorization error 105 or 107 occur because the authorization utility detects the presence of a software pirating utility like Key Disk Terminator (KDT).

To fully remove KDT, we recommend removing all KDT software including applications, System Extensions, Preference files, barrier files, etc. Then rebuild the desktop databases of all attached drives. It should not be necessary to reformat the drive, however, you may want to reformat as an additional deterent against KDT.
