Applying EQ to a Channel on an AW2816
A:
The AW2816 provides a full a four-band parametric equalizer on all of the mixer channels. This four-band EQ allows the user to have extensive control over the tonal charateristics of all tracks and input signals.
1) Press the desired 'MIXING LAYER' button for one of the following EQ options depending upon the playback channel to which the EQ is to be applied: a) To apply EQ to an Input Channel, press the desired [1-8] Input button or the [17-24/RTN] button. or, b) To apply EQ to a Playback Channel, press either the [1-8] or [9-16] 'RECORDER' button, depending upon the playback channel to which the EQ is to be applied. 2) Press the [SEL] button above the channel to which EQ is to be applied. 3) Select the desired EQ setting using one of the following methods: a) Set the desired EQ level from the 'EQ EDIT' page: 1] Press the [EQ] button then the [F1] button to access the 'EQ EDIT' screen. 2] If the 'EQ ON' field is set to 'OFF', press the , , or , 'CURSOR' buttons as needed to move the cursor to the 'EQ ON' field. 3] Press the [ENTER] button to toggle the 'EQ ON' field to 'ON'. 4] Adjust the EQ as desired using the , , or , 'CURSOR' buttons or the (DATA/JOG) dial. b) Select an EQ preset from the 'EQ LIBRARY' page: 1] Press the [EQ] button then the [F2] to access the 'EQ LIBRARY' page. 2] Use the (DATA/JOG) dial to select the desired preset from 'No. LIBRARY TITLE' list. NOTE: Library numbers range from 1 to 128. Presets 1-40 are recall-only, factory installed presets that cannot be renamed. 3] Press the up, down, left , right or , 'CURSOR' buttons as needed to select 'RECALL' in the screen. 4] Press the [ENTER] button to activate the EQ preset.
