OS: 9: ReBirth 2.0.1 Rewire objects not recognized

Description:
a user reports:

Logic 6 doesn't recognize the rewire audio ports of an installed Rebirth 2.0.1. In the menu "CHA" of the audio object parameter box the entry "rewire" doesn't appear

In Logic 5 the problem does not exist.

There is no other Rewire application installed.

Explanation:
Using the Rewire system extension 1.4.2 (June, 4th 2002) that is installed with Reason 2, Logic does recognize ReBirth's Rewire objects.

Suggestion:
Please contact Propellerheads' support for more information.

Solution:
Emagic is looking into the problem.
