DX7IIFD keyboard displays Voices but does not produce sound

The Local Control may be in the 'OFF' position. Make sure the Local Control is set to 'ON'.

To make sure Local Control is set to 'ON':

1) Press the [EDIT] button.
2) Press the [31] button repeatedly until you see ''Local'' on the display.
3) Press the cursor button to select ''Local.''
4) If necessary, press the [+1/YES] button to turn Local ON.
5) Press the appropriate [SINGLE], [DUAL], or [SPLIT] button to return to the Play Mode that the keyboard was in before entering the Edit Mode.
